I decided to fit one final sewing project in before my mom left Saturday afternoon. Emma had been asking for one of these baby doll slings for a while, and I’m glad I made one for Johnny too because he thinks it’s really cool to have a baby sling. Made using the same fabric and design as my pouch sling (which Lily spends large portions of the day in).
Update: you can now find a tutorial to make your own doll carrier here!
Also, beautiful newborn photos of Lily taken by my very talented friend Felicia are here.

Sunnyboy has a pouch sling that I bought on the internet in a sale. These are much nicer! :)
What gorgeous pictures of your baby girl too!
Oh, I love these! What a great job you did. I paid almost 20 dollars for a doll sized slingling for my daughters birthday last March. She loves to carry her babies in it. So cute!
these are sooooooooooooooooooo cute, priceless!
Cute!
how sweet. you are so talented
How wonderful you got to get those pouches sewn before your mom left! And the pictures of Lily – gorgeous!!
Oh I bet they'll have so much fun using those slings while you hold Lily. How long will it take before they realize they're not allowed to put her in the sling?
Those slings are so cute!! And your friend took amazing pictures–so sweet she still has her little umbilical cord stump. It goes by so fast…
Those photos are amazing! Your friend is very talented indeed!!
I love the slings you made, and the Johnny in that second photo … he looks so happy! How neat that you made it from the same fabric as the one you made for Lily. That is so cool!
those are really nice. My daughters would absolutely love those. haha
Sew sweet. Love it. Glad you made one for your little man too. My boys always had dolls. It teaches them how to be gentle with little ones and how to be good daddys.
