Review and Giveaway: Cuddle Barn Storytime Teddie

This giveaway is now closed. Congratulations, Ticia!

Admiring the Cuddle Barn Storytime Teddie

Johnny adores bears. He always has. So when MomSelect contacted me about reviewing Cuddle Barn’s Storytime Teddie, I knew I had found the perfect birthday present for him. Isn’t this guy cute?

Cuddle Barn Storytime Teddie

He was, predictably, a hit with all three kids. They think it is awesome that he talks (he recites the poem ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas). Johnny (and then the girls) finds the fact that his mouth opens and closes while he talks – and that, therefore, you can make him bite your finger, hilarious. See the video below, for evidence =)

I like that the bear is cute, soft, a great size for a child to cuddle, and (perhaps most of all) that you can turn him off! My kids play with him turned off at least as much as when he is on. I was a little disappointed to see that underneath his shirt is a less-soft, non-fur fabric. I also think that this particular poem is a little long for kids to sit through, particularly delivered with minimal emotion (Teddie recites it the way a young child would read it out loud for the first time).

Cuddle Barn has another bear to give away to a US reader of this blog! To enter, check out the Cuddle Barn website and Facebook page, and fill out the form below telling me who you would give this bear to. If you want to order your bear now (or another Cuddle Barn toy), you can use code BSM2011 to save 15% off your order at the Cuddle Barn Online Store. You can get a second giveaway entry if you like the Cuddle Barn Facebook page and mark that on the form. This giveaway will run through December 9am Boston time December 14th, when a winner will be chosen via random.org.

Disclosure: I received this bear for free as part of a promotional program with Cuddle Barn and MomSelect

  1. Adorable! Speaking of Give-Aways (or Gift-Aways for me!) We have a little herb garden for you!!! I’m sending you an e-mail =)http://theeducatorsspinonit.blogspot.com/2011/12/what-to-make-with-kale-and-our-garden.html

  2. My kids would also find it hysterical that the bear “bit” them. :) Did I hear Emma ask “is it a boy?” and Johnny respond, “it’s a bear!” You could tell he loved his birthday gift!
