I’m feeling very pampered this week! K played with the kids for much of this week, and on Friday she and my sister E took the kids to the New England Aquarium for the day while I slept (in a silent house!) and got some organizing done. K also put the kids to bed on Tuesday so Mike and I could go on a date. Bliss. It’s making for a very relaxed summer and end-of-pregnancy!
My parents get into town this week, along with my China-dwelling sister and her one-year-old son – so my kids will even have a cousin to play with! We haven’t had this much family in town since Johnny was a newborn, and that was in the middle of a very intense winter. I’m hoping for some good weather so we can do more outdoor activities. And yes, I’m also hoping for this baby to show up soon!

sounds wonderful. I remember feeling so pampered when someone would take Little J for the day when I was close the end of the twins’ pregnancy. He would enjoy someone with a little energy and I would regain a little of mine!

Sleeping in a quite house? What is that like? lol ….I was not a fan of pregnancy, and hated people telling me to enjoy the “time” but let me say anyway…. your beautiful little girl is almost here, and you are going to be so smitten over her… enjoy these last few weeks (or days) of her being closer to you then she will ever be again. x

It was pretty amazing! Actually, it was such a new experience that I was completely disoriented when I woke up, lol!!!
This is probably the first pregnancy I’ve “enjoyed” – I guess I finally figured out how to, fourth time around. It’s been nice!
