Chocolate sauce doesn’t get much easier or more delicious than this! All you need for this chocolate sauce, which can also use as a chocolate dip, are these two ingredients, in equal parts:
- Your favorite chocolate chips. My current favorites are the huge Kirkland Signature brand bag that Costco started selling a few months ago. They beat out Guittard, Ghiradelli, and Trader Joe’s (all previous favorites) – in taste and price!
- Butter – or coconut oil!
Melt the butter/coconut oil and chocolate chips together in a saucepan (microwave can work, but I feel like stovetop makes it smoother, and it really doesn’t take very long).
Pour over your treat – or dip strawberries (make sure the strawberries are nice and cold from the fridge for best results). This recipe also works in candy melt molds!
This chocolate concoction melts solid. If you want something more chewy, try adding marshmallows. Make sure you don’t over-cook your sauce!
