Three years ago, we each held Lily for the first time. She charmed us from the start with her exuberant, expressive personality!
Lily has grown up quickly, working hard to keep up with Johnny and Emma, but she throws her arms around my neck the same way she did as a baby. It’s not unusual for her to hug each family member when she wakes up in the morning, and she often puts an arm around Johnny or Emma as they sit playing together. I love that she jumps up and down with excitement when she likes something, the insights into her world that I get through her chatter, and the passion with which she embraces everyday life.

Happy Birthday to Lily! Your Lily and my Grace are almost exactly the same age- 3 days apart. I was a little sad to see Grace turn 3 because it feels like the official end of the baby stage, but I’m looking forward to the days ahead too.
