Spring and summer are popsicle season at our house, and I like making my own with juice as a healthier (and often cheaper) alternative to the store-bought kind. I got these Back to Basics Flute Pops at Target (even though I could only find them listed online at Kmart), and they make the best juice popsicles ever! They stand up straight in their stand, you can take out one at a time, and the part that holds the unfrozen juice turns into a very kid-friendly handle. They are even designed to catch drips, although my kids turn them sideways and render that aspect of the design useless.
We find that white cranberry peach juice makes especially delicious popsicles =)

Yum. We got some pop makers from Ikea but they end up falling off the small stick as soon as the top is bitten off! No wonder we have ants all over our deck!

We had some from Ikea too that we tossed eventually for that reason. These stay on until the very end, at which point they do fall off…

Ooo, we’ll have to try the white cranberry peach. I just bought some white grape juice specifically for this purpose. Also, I always have plain ol’ water pops in the freezer now. I need to give credit to my MIL for this one. My kids love them, they don’t stain, aren’t sticky, and don’t spoil dinner. Oh, the stories they’re bound to tell about their crazy mom one day…

water pops – brilliant! Finally, popsicles that can be eaten inside! I’ll be making some of those from now on, thanks for the idea!

I tried the molds from Target and they worked only on some of them.
I have taken lazy man’s way the last couple weeks and popped craft sticks into snack size puddings and yogurts, then popped them into the freezer. That’s working for now:-).
