Emma was a very lucky girl, this past Saturday! She and I drove out to Fashion Playtes headquarters in Beverly, MA – a neat company that makes cute, basic clothing that girls aged 5-12 can accessorize to create their favorite look. We had been sent a store credit code to pick out some Fashion Playtes items beforehand, and Emma had a blast picking out this bag, shirt, and hair clip. Sizing is based on height and weight, which made finding the right size for tall, slim Emma a breeze. Emma got to try out some new Fashion Playtes clothing and accessories, tour the offices, and participate in a mini fashion show. She had a blast!!! I was invited to this event through Boston Parent Bloggers, and it was great to connect with some other local bloggers!
Emma was the proudest of this little bird embellishment that she picked out for her shirt. She can’t wait to wear it to school on Friday for Show & Tell! I was happy to see how well embellishments are applied, and that the clothing is soft and very age-appropriate. It was a great mother-daughter outing!

What a fun day! I always enjoy those out of the ordinary things that I get to do with one or both of my kids. What great color choices =)

That business has the right idea working out their sizing based on height and weight.
I like the sweet bird Emma chose for her shirt. How fun to put together an outfit.
