Emma made this fairy village from sticks, flowers, stones, and leaves that she found around our yard. A potted tomato plant set the scene perfectly for this imaginative pretend play.
Wouldn’t you live here if you were a fairy?
I’m linking this post to the Carnival of Small World Play at NurtureStore

I would, I would!! :)
You’re right, the tomato plant is perfect – letting the light through and not overwhelming Emma’s display.

I like that first picture, she is really concentrating. And, yes, I would definitely want to live there if I was a fairy:-).

beautiful little village! I used to build underground fairy houses in Gma C’s yard; she was a little upset when she found all the holes in her lawn.

Fun! Wouldn’t it be fun to draw little paper houses and stick them on popsicle sticks, and the kids could stick them in different pots around the yard?

Thank you so much for sharing this with the Carnival of Small World Play – we were just talking this week about getting our fairy garden spruced up for new residents this spring.
