Today I’m writing about two topics that are near and dear to my heart: educational crafting and pediatric cancer.
Kiwi Crate is a subscription service that delivers a thematic crate of hands-on projects to your home each month. Each box contains 2-3 carefully designed and kid-tested projects.
For every crate subscription purchased through this link this week (June 16 – 22, 2012), Kiwi Crate will donate a crate to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
The materials are high quality, the learning packets are painstakingly assembled, and every review I’ve read about Kiwi Crate has been outstanding.
St. Jude is a non-profit that puts saving the lives of children at its core. Bummer, I missed this. I would have loved to participate. We don’t typically donate to St. Jude’s, but the American Cancer Society gets a good donation from us every year and we usually participate in the Relay for Life. Is this an annual thing? Maybe next year?

Hopefully! I think this is the first year they have done it, but it’s a pretty new company. I’ll probably be posting again, if they do it next year :)
