  1. Oh yes, the magic eraser is a good friend of mine around here much too often. We currently have two in house artists here, Jack and Jesse. But, just yesterday while I was blow drying my hair, I found Joe’s name written in pencil on the side of my dresser! I took a picture of it to post at some point. I know it’s bad to write on stuff, but sometimes–like the dresser yesterday–it makes me laugh. You gotta wonder what they are thinking!

Please tell me those aren’t Sharpie marks??? Note to self: Never let ’em run out of paper. ;-)

  3. Oh Yikes! We’ve had that happen too many times too. Such creative artists :)
Thanks so mush for the sweet comment on my blog!

  4. … Yikes. I’ll be sure to read the labels and make sure to only get washable markers, when the time comes. :) Or cover the walls with construction paper …

  5. Oh no!! Was this discovery preceded by one of those eerie silences where the kids are playing happily and quietly… quietly??!!

Do your kids enjoy helping with the dishwasher? Mine love it, although we did break a bowl the other day.

  6. @Elisa – Absolutely on the silence bit…

My kids love helping with the dishwasher, but sometimes I just don’t feel like letting them help because it becomes such a production and in this case they WERE drawing nicely on paper. Then they ran out of paper…

@Natalie – Lily AND Johnny; I was pretty surprised Johnny participated since Lily is usually our lone graffiti artist. I guess the temptation was simply too great to resist! And Magic Eraser is amazing, it’s never disappointed me (although I’ve learned that it CAN take the top layer off certain types of paint…)
