This giveaway is now closed. Congratulations, Julie, and thanks to all who entered!
Mike and I both have very light-sensitive blue eyes that our kids have inherited, so I was excited to give Baby Banz a try (of course, sunglasses are always important regardless of eye sensitivity – it’s just easier to convince kids to wear them when their eyes are sensitive). The pair of Red Dot Adventure Banz we were sent fit both Lily (10 months old) and Emma (4 years old) easily. I’m sure they would have fit two-year-old Johnny as well, but he wasn’t interested in such “girly” shades. I love the high quality of the sunglasses, the fact that they block the sun out of my kids’ eyes completely, and that they offer full UVA and UVB protection. I also really like that the lenses can be replaced with prescription lenses if you have a child who wears glasses. Both girls will wear them if I get them on just right; that takes some fiddling sometimes, but I think I’ll get better at it as time goes by. I’m also wishing I’d started them wearing these as infants so they would be completely used to them!

Children don’t have filters in the eye to block out UV light until age 8-9, so it is really important protect their eyes with the proper sunglasses.
Baby Banz headbands adjust and secure with a hook and loop closure system.
That’s so clever!
My favorite non-sunglasses item is the pink sea turtle reversible bucket hat.
I love the Adventure Banz in red polka dot.
so cute!
Fact I didn’t know before visiting the Baby BanZ website: Putting cheaply made sunglasses on an infant or toddler you can actually cause MORE harm to their eyes because their iris will open wider and allow more ultraviolet light into the eye. The lens needs to be able to provide shade AND UV protection!
I love the swimwear sets (hoodie, top and bottom) as my favorite non-sunglasses item.
I’m subscribed via email :-)
I love the Polarized Ultimate BanZ in Pink.
