fleece bears

I was looking for a simple sewing project and came up with these little fleece bears. Stuffed by Emma, each of these bears is unique and the perfect size, both for comfort:

Want to make some of your own? Download the free teddy bear pattern here. Sew wrong side out, leaving a hole for stuffing. Turn, stuff, and hand stitch the opening. Draw a face with your favorite fabric marker or sharpie pen. Take on as many adventures as possible. Cut the bears out of felt for an older child to sew themselves!

  1. Your children are blessed by your creativity once again! I wonder if washable markers would work on those bears. Decorate and wash perhaps?

  2. WOW! This may be a sewing project even the sewing challenged like myself could do:-). Joe has a gingerbread man he got when he was very young that reminds me alot of these cute little bears.

You are so super creative, and I MEAN that!

  3. Oh MaryAnne, those are so cute! You’re right- they are the perfect size. And they are so sweet au naturel but I have a feeling it won’t be long before Emma and Johnny are asking for bear clothes, though. If they are anything like my girls, anyway. What is it about little tiny kid hands holding stuffed animals that is so adorable?

Sweet! Love the adventure photo AND that they are hand stuffed by Emma. The faces you drew are extremely cute, too.
